After completing a decade of serving people, this Michelin-starred Seven Park Place restaurant at the St. James Hotel and Club, underwent a complete refurbishment process. The head chef, William Drabble took inspiration from the art deco period and redesigned the place which re-opened on 12th November 2019.
About the place
You will be awestruck by the beauty of this beautiful Hotel and Club. The result of refurbishment came out to be a sophisticated place inspired by the Art Deco period. It has multiple floral motifs and artworks that adorn the wall. It also has a separate wine tasting room which is recently added to the works. After the renovations, we could see the restaurant became more bright, spacious, and comfortable. All the credit goes to plush velvet dining chairs and luxurious textiles, to make it look even more beautiful.
The dishes
The kitchen is under the watchful eye of a very talented Executive Head Chef of the hotel, William Drabble. He has been working at the hotel for more than 10 years and is responsible for the new take on some of the restaurant’s seasonal signature dishes that are in line with the re-launch. You can choose from the number of courses you want to have for your meal; it varies in pricing. A six-course tasting menu on Wednesday night is around 110 euros per person, a two-course cost is around 65 euros per person, and lastly, a three-course meal costs around 75 euros per head.
On-demand vegan and vegetarian dishes are also available in the restaurant. The meals are seriously prepared while keeping in mind about the allergies and intolerances of their guests. Freshly prepared food is served in the dining room so that guests can easily savour the taste of the food.

- It has awarded the precious distinction award for nine consecutive years.
- Won an award for Europe’s Luxury Hotel Restaurant.
- It has been awarded the award for Europe’s Best Wine Selection.
Comfort and convenience
The chic and stylish bedrooms are designed without unnecessary embellishments. However, the design focuses on the practicality and comfort of the guests. The interior of the room especially focuses on the comfort of the busy business travelers who want comfortable king-size beds to catch up on their good night’s sleep. The place is exceptionally quiet for a place like London. It gives access to almost all the important amenities like Wi-Fi, Bose, and docking stations for Sony iPod/iPhone. The bathroom is exclusively luxurious and has chrome glass fittings along with the polished natural stone.
In the morning you can head to William’s Bar & Bistro to order your breakfast. You can also enjoy your food from the specially designed vegan menu by Chef William. This service is a part of a package called Happiness in the city.
Seven Park Place is a winner in St. James Hotel and Club in many ways. Take it from décor to comfort, this seven-star is designed in such a manner that it won’t fail to impress anyone who pays a visit.
